Ytterbium(III) oxide is the chemical compound with the formula Yb2O3. It is one of the more commonly encountered compounds of ytterbium.

Application

Y 1201 (OTTO) Ytterbium oxide, 99.998% Cas 1314-37-0 - used as additives for fluorescent powder and in the preparation of magnetic bubbles in computers. Y 1201 (OTTO) Ytterbium oxide, 99.998% Cas 1314-37-0 - used in the preparation of chiral ytterbium complexes which are used as catalysts for enantioselective organic synthesis with high yields. It finds application in optical, electronic and ceramic industries.
