Lanthanum is a soft, ductile, silvery-white metallic chemical element with symbol La and atomic number 57.

Application

L 6939 (OTTO) Lanthanum, pieces or lumps, 10-30 mm, 99.9% Cas 7439-91-0 - used in the production of mischmetal and steel additives but is also important in the production of hydrogen storage alloys for nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) batteries.
