Description

Acetic acid is a colourless liquid organic compound with the chemical formula CH3COOH (also written as CH3CO2H or C2H4O2). When undiluted, it is sometimes called glacial acetic acid.

Application

A 1254 (OTTO) Acetic acid, for HPLC 99.8% Cas 64-19-7 - used in laboratory as a solvent for recrystallization, manufacture of camphor, cellulose acetate, polyvinyl acetate. It involves in Wagner-Meerwein rearrangement. A 1254 (OTTO) Acetic acid, for HPLC 99.8% Cas 64-19-7 - used for preparation of mono-lithium salt of 5-sulfoisophthalic acid.
