Description

Phlorizin (also phloridzine , phlorrhizin ) is a vegetable glycoside from the group of flavonoids ( chalcones ), which formally from phloroglucinol derived.

Application

P 1714 (OTTO) Phloridzin, dihydrate, 99% Cas 7061-54-3 - used to induce experimental glycosuria and block the reabsorption of glucose from kidney tubule producing glycosuria.
