Description

1,1,2,2-Tetrachloroethane - is a chlorinated derivative of ethane. It has the highest solvent power of any chlorinated hydrocarbon.

Application

T 1347 (OTTO) 1,1,2,2-Tetrachloroethane, GR 99%+ Cas 79-34-5 - used as an alcohol denaturant, fumigant, dry cleaning agent, in photographic film. In addition to this, it is used as an intermediate in the industrial production of trichloroethylene, tetrachloroethylene and1,2-dichloroethylene.
