It may also be used to synthesize organic intermediates such as dimethyl-(4-nitro-benzyl)-amine, dimethyl-(4-methyl-benzyl)-amine and 4-dimethylamino-but-2-enoic acid [4-(3,4-dichloro-6-fluoro-phenylamino)-quinazolin-6-yl]-amide.
