Description

: Natamycin, 95% - is an antifungal macrolide polyene that binds to cell membrane sterols. Investigations show that the compound predominantly binds to the main sterol in fungal and yeast membranes, ergosterol.

Applications

: N 1373 (OTTOKEMI) Natamycin, 95% Cas 7681-93-8 - used to study the pleitropic regulator AdpAch and the gamma-butyrolactone regulatory system of Streptomyces chattanoogensis.
