: F 1464 (OTTO) 5-Fluoro cytosine, 99% Cas 2022-85-7 - used as an inhibitor of Nucleic Acid Synthesis of Fungi. 5-Fluorocytosine is deaminated by cytosine deaminase to product 5-fluorouracil, resulting in RNA miscoding. It also inhibits DNA and RNA synthesis and interferes with ribosomal protein synthesis.
