Description

p-Xylene (para-xylene) is an aromatic hydrocarbon. It is one of the three isomers of dimethylbenzene known collectively as xylenes.

Application

X 1225 (OTTO) p-Xylene, 99% Cas 106-42-3 - used as a precursor in the production of benzoic, isophthalic, tetraphillic acids and dimethyle esters, which are used in the manufacture of polyester. It acts as an intermediate in plastic and rubber products.
