Description

o-Xylene (ortho-xylene) is an aromatic hydrocarbon, based on benzene with two methyl substituents bonded to adjacent carbon atoms in the aromatic ring (the ortho configuration).

Application

X 1222 (OTTO) o-Xylene, 99% Cas 95-47-6 - used in the production of phthalic anhydride. X 1222 (OTTO) o-Xylene, 99% Cas 95-47-6 - used in fuels as well as fuel additives. X 1222 (OTTO) o-Xylene, 99% Cas 95-47-6 - used in the production of isophthalic acid and terephthalic acid. It is utilized in polyvinyl chloride production, alkyl resin and unsaturated polyester resins. X 1222 (OTTO) o-Xylene, 99% Cas 95-47-6 - used as a solvent in paint, varnish, glue, printing ink, dyes and in rubber.
