Description

Thorin (also called Thoron or Thoronol) is an indicator used in the determination of barium, beryllium, lithium, uranium and thorium compounds. Being a compound of arsenic, it is highly toxic.

Application

T 1677 (OTTO) Thorin, GR Cas no 3688-92-4 - used as a reagent for the determination of thorium. T 1677 (OTTO) Thorin, GR Cas no 3688-92-4 - used as an indicator in the titrimetric determination of organic sulfur compounds and sulfate with Ba(ClO4)2.
