Zirconium(IV) oxide powder, 5 μm, 99%

Code: Z 1346

(For eg. B 1615-0108)

Zirconium dioxide is a white crystalline oxide of zirconium. Its most naturally occurring form, with a monoclinic crystalline structure, is the mineral baddeleyite.

Z 1346 (OTTO) Zirconium(IV) oxide powder, 5 μm, 99% Cas 1314-23-4 - used as an additive in the production of piezoelectric crystals, in high-frequency induction coils and in ceramic glazes. It finds application as solid electrolyte in electrochromic devices and precursor to electroceramic lead zirconate titanate (PZT), as insulator in transistors, as a thermal barrier coating in jet and diesel engines and as diamond simulant in jewelry. Z 1346 (OTTO) Zirconium(IV) oxide powder, 5 μm, 99% Cas 1314-23-4 - used in oxygen sensors, fuel cell membranes and in orthopaedic implants of hip joints.
