Holmium (III) iodide (or holmiumtrijodidi ) is a holmium compound iodine , wherein the iodine present in the oxidation state -I + III and holmium. The compound thus formed is HOI3. It forms yellow hexagonal crystals having a crystal structure similar to that of bismuth (III) iodide.
