C 2072a (OTTO) 2-Chloroethanol, GR Cas 107-07-3 - used in the preparation of several dyes by the alkylation of aniline derivatives with chloroethanol. It is a building block in the production of pharmaceuticals and plasticizers. Also used for manufacture of thiodiglycol.
