Bovine serum albumin, lyophilized powder, essentially globulin free, ≥99%

Code: B 1997

(For eg. B 1615-0108)

Bovine serum albumin (also known as BSA or "Fraction V") is a serum albumin protein derived from cows. It is often used as a protein concentration standard in lab experiments.

B 1997 (OTTO) Bovine serum albumin, lyophilized powder, essentially globulin free, ≥99% Cas 9048-46-8 - used for enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISAs), immunoblots and immunohistochemistry. It acts as a blocking reagent particularly useful with casein-sensitive antibodies, such as phospho-specific antibodies. B 1997 (OTTO) Bovine serum albumin, lyophilized powder, essentially globulin free, ≥99% Cas 9048-46-8 - used as a nutrient in cell and microbial culture. B 1997 (OTTO) Bovine serum albumin, lyophilized powder, essentially globulin free, ≥99% Cas 9048-46-8 - used as a protein standard, diluent, enzyme stabilizer and in cell culture applications especially serum-free media.
