Aluminium fluoride (AlF3) is an inorganic compound used primarily in the production of aluminium. This colorless solid can be prepared synthetically but also occurs in nature.

Application

A 1725 (OTTO) Aluminium fluoride, 97% Cas 15098-87-0 - used as an additive for the production of Aluminium by electrolysis. A 1725 (OTTO) Aluminium fluoride, 97% Cas 15098-87-0 - used to inhibit fermentation and in the preparation of low index films. It serves as a flux ingredient for the removal of magnesium in the refining of Aluminium scrap.
