Description

1-Naphthaldehyde is used in the synthesis of single-crystalline homochiral porous metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). MOFs are commonly used as storage for volatile gases and for purification, and catalysis.

Application

N 1204 (OTTO) 1-Naphthaldehyde, 98% Cas 66-77-3 - used in the synthesis of 1-Naphthoic acid and 1-Naphthalenemethanol. 1-Naphthaldehyde is also a starting material for the Canizzaro reaction to produce 1-Naphthoic acid and 1-Naphthalenemethanol.
