Hexamethylenetetramine or methenamine is a heterocyclic organic compound with the formula (CH2)6N4. This white crystalline compound is highly soluble in water and polar organic solvents.
H 1357 (OTTO) Hexamine, GR 99%+ Cas 100-97-0 - used as a formylation agent in the synthesis and as a precipitating agent. It is also used in the production of phenolic resins and its moulding compounds, which finds application as binders in fire proof materials, brake and clutch linings.
