Description

Penicillinase from Bacillus cereus has been shown to contain three distinct species when purified and examined for homogeneity by sedimentation analysis, amino-terminal analysis, and vertical acrylamide gel electrophoresis.

Application

P 1394 (OTTO) Penicillinase, from bacillus cereus lyophilized powder, 1,500-3,000 units/mg protein (using benzylpenicillin) Cas 9073-60-3 - used to reduce levels of penicillin in patients with severe penicillin reactions.
