Description

Titanium tetraisopropoxide or TTIP, is a chemical compound with the formula Ti{OCH(CH3)2}4. This alkoxide of titanium(IV) is used in organic synthesis and materials science. It is a diamagnetic tetrahedral molecule.

Application

T 1818 (OTTO) Titanium(IV) isopropoxide, 99.995% Cas no 546-68-9 - used as a precursor for the preparation of titanium and barium-strontium-titanate thin films. It is useful to make porous titanosilicates and potential ion-exchange materials for cleanup of radioactive wastes.
