Tetra-n-butylammonium fluoride, commonly abbreviated to TBAF and n-Bu4NF, is a quaternary ammonium salt with the chemical formula (CH3CH2CH2CH2)4N+F−.

Application

T 1293 (OTTO) Tetrabutylammonium fluoride, 1M in THF Cas 429-41-4 - used as a reactant for the preparation of triple monoamine reuptake inhibitors as a new generation of antidepressants, oligoribonucleotides with phosphonate-modified linkages, conjugated dienoic acid esters using Suzuki coupling reactions and polyacetylenic glucosides.
