Description

Camphor is a waxy, flammable, white or transparent solid with a strong aroma.It is a terpenoid with the chemical formula C10H16O.

Application

C 1557 (OTTO) Camphor (micro analytical reagent) Cas 76-22-2 - used as a flavoring agent and a fragrance ingredient. It has been identified as the major volatile component in the essential oil extracted from the leaves of Blumea balsamifera and Ashe juniper.
