Description

Quinizarin - is an organic compound derived from anthroquinone. Quinizarin is an orange or red-brown crystalline powder. It is formally derived from anthraquinone by replacement of two hydrogen atoms by hydroxyl (OH) groups.

Application

Q 1250 (OTTO) Quinizarine, 96% Cas 81-64-1- used in the synthesis of cyclopentanoids by cyclization of α,β-unsaturated aldehyde with 1, 4 1,4-Dihydroxyanthraquinone.
