Caesium carbonate or cesium carbonate is a white crystalline solid compound.
C 1809 (OTTO) Cesium chloride, optical grade, 99.9% Cas 7647-17-8 - used in the preparation of electrically conducting glasses and screens of cathode ray tubes. In conjunction with rare gases CsCl is used as in excimer lamps:a gas-discharge source of ultraviolet light which uses, for example, electrically excited XeCl excimer molecules.
