Cerium nitrate hexahydrate, with the formula Ce(NO3)3.6H2O. Cerium nitrate refers to a family of nitrates of cerium in the three or four oxidation state.

Application

C 1781 (OTTO) Cerium(III) nitrate, hexahydrate, GR 99.9% Cas 10294-41-4 - used in the separation of cerium from other rare earths. It plays an important role as a catalyst for hydrolysis of phosphoric acid esters.
