A 2345 (OTTO) Ammonium tartrate, 98% Cas 3164-29-2 - used to study biochemicals and reagents, biological buffers, chelators, protein structural analysis, proteomics and X-ray crystallography.

Ammonium tartrate dibasic may be used in biological applications as a nitrogen source. In the evaluation of laccase production, ammonium tartrate was used to study the effects of nitrogen on the production of laccase by fung.
