C 1688 (OTTO) Casein, vitamin free, also fat free Cas 9000-71-9 - used as a type of organic adhesive and a binder for safety matches. It supplies amino acids and carbohydrates and two inorganic elements such as calcium and phosphorus.

Casein is a a high molecular weight phosphoprotein used as a substrate for bromelain and other proteases.
