Canada balsam, also called Canada turpentine or balsam of fir, is a turpentine made from the resin of the balsam fir tree.

Application

B 1217 (OTTO) Balsam canada, colourless Cas 8007-47-4 - used in the preparation of slide mounts. A turpentine made of resin which is dissolved in essential oils.
