Description

Acetamide is an organic compound with the formula CH3CONH2. It is the simplest amide derived from acetic acid. It finds some use as a plasticizer and as an industrial solvent.

Application

A 1235 (OTTO) Acetamide, for synthesis 99% Cas no 60-35-5 - used as a precursor to thioacetamide.A 1235 (OTTO) Acetamide, for synthesis 99% Cas no 60-35-5 - used for the transamidation of carboxamides in 1,4-dioxane. It finds application in lacquers and soldering flux. Further, it acts as a precursor to thioacetamide.
