Description

6-Aminocaproic acid - is an antifibrinolytic agent shown to enhance the activation of urinary-type and tissue-type plasminogen.

Application

A 1930 (OTTO) 6-Aminocaproic acid, 99% Cas 60-32-2 - used as an intermediate in the polymerization of Nylon-6. It is involved in the extraction of aldehydes from the reaction mixture as well as to improve the solubilization of membrane proteins in electrophoresis.
